The Missionaries

That Sunday I signed up to feed the missionaries.  We haven't been able to feed them for a while; it seems Sundays are always taken on the calendar or I meet see the calendar because I'm in Young Women's.  But I finally snagged the calendar from Aunt Becky and signed us up!

After Bellamy woke up from her nap, actually all weekend, we started reminding her that the missionaries were coming over.  Once they finally got here, she was so shy and didn't want to have anything to do with them!  But once Elder Murdoch started looking at one of Drew's turtle books, that was it!  She wanted me to go get the other turtle book and then she stood there with them and looked at!
It was so cute watching her with them!  We sure did love having them over.  Try definitely have a sweet spirit about hem an we have missed having them in our home.  We love all of our missionaries that have served in the Crawfordville Branch, but there is something different about Elder Murdoch and Elder Shepherd.  They truly are servants of The Lord and we are glad that we can have them in our home and feel of their spirit.

Big Girl

Bellamy is getting bigger and bigger everyday and it is completely scaring me to death!
But I sure do love her to pieces!

Birthday Continued...

After we got home from Brittyn's party on Saturday, Drew decided he wanted to go for a ride.  So out to Sopchoppy we went!  They have a nice little park out there, so we hopped out an let Bellamy play for a while.  After we played, we took a walk out on the dock...actually Bellamy RAN down the entire thing, so I had to run to keep up with her!  Drew videoed that, but there's no reason that needs to make it on the blog!  I digress.  Once I finally caught up with her and we turned around to head back, she wanted me I carry her.  TYPICAL!  But I didn't, as she needed to continue to run herself out!  Once we made it back to Drew, we stopped for some pictures!

When we finally got loaded back up in the car, we decided to drive over to Panacea and grab a bite to eat.  We had some good seafood to continue our celebration of Drew and then we called it a night!

Even though we didn't get to celebrate like we wanted, we hope you had an awesome birthday Drew an we both love you so much!

Happy Birthday Daddy!

Drew turned the big 39 this year, but with his birthday falling during the work week, we didn't really get to celebrate.

When I picked up Bellamy after work, we decided to hit up the Cake Shop and grab a few cupcakes for an impromptu surprise party.  As we were talking on the way home the subject of dinner came up and Drew ended up saying, "I guess we can just scrounge tonight".  I'm sure he said that on purpose, but nobody should have to "scrounge" on their birthday!  So as we came into Crawfordville, Bellamy and I swung by Pizza Hut and grabbed his some pizza! Once he got home we sang "Happy Birthday" and shouted "SURPRISE"!!  And them of course, we all dug in!

I will say that even though it was Drew's birthday, I think Bellamy enjoyed the pizza and cupcake more than anybody!!

We are so very grateful for Drew and the good husband and father that he is. I'm so thankful to have a husband that loves his little girl and will do anything in his power for her!  Wishing you many more birthdays filled with joy and happiness!  We love you!

Silly Girl...

Got a hold of my phone and went to town!
I'm sure everyone enjoyed seeing what Miss B had for dinner!

Bellamy's Bows

Bellamy loves her hair bows!  She's even gotten to where she will say "I need a hair bow" right when she wakes up in the morning!  Well, this was not the morning time, but she totally needed a hair bow...
Or 30!!

Bellamy's Pictures

A couple of Sundays ago Bellamy was sick so I kept her home from church.  She wanted to draw so I got her out her markers and some paper and then we went to town!  She drew some circles and scribbles and then she wanted me to draw.  She started out wanting to draw a boat with Nana, Pop, me, Drew and her in it.  Then she wanted to add all these other people in it.  So we got out a new sheet and I drew who she told me and this is what we ended up with...
It's not the best picture, but I'm no artist by any stretch of the imagination!  The purpose of this post is that she wanted Sister Bradham in our boat.  Sister Bradham is an older lady in our branch that absolutely loves Bellamy!  She hasn't been there the past couple of weeks so Bellamy has really been asking about her lately.

What a sweet little girl we have.  It amazes me how much she remembers and who she remembers!  She certainly is an example for us and I hope that we rub off a little on her too!

Tutu Crazy

Bellamy is absolutely in LOVE with her tutu.  This is not just any tutu, this is her tutu that she wore at her FIRST birthday party!
Now that she has taken such a likening to her tutu, it looks like signing up for dance is in her future!

Koala Station

Ok, so I know we all have strange obsessions, but I think Bellamy's takes the cake!!  Let's just dive right in!

So you know the Koala Station changing tables in public bathrooms?  Yep, that's her obsession.  They scare her to death.  When I have to change her in public and actually have to use one of those, I lay her down, kicking and screaming, and shaking to the core.  But here lately, all she can do is talk about them.

One Saturday we went up to clean the church and I was tackling the bathrooms.  She kept coming in and staring at it and would cry, yet she couldn't stay away.  Finally when it was time to go, she wanted to take the plunge and try to sit on it.  As Drew took her in, she screamed...AGAIN!  So I tried taking her into the women's bathroom to give it one more try...
SUCCESS!!!  Se won't lay down on it to be changed, but she wants to sit on it...all the time...BOTH the one in the mens room and the one in the women's room!  Now when we go to church, we have to get there early so we can see them before sacrament meeting, before nursery, she takes a "field trip" during nursery, and then before we go home!  Looks like I may have to call one of those TV stations and see if we can make some money off of this!

I'm Too Old For This

Back on September 5th Drew and I went to the Jason Aldean concert in Tallahassee.  We had a BLAST!!  I didn't take any pictures, so I have none of those to post, but we did have a good time!

Luckily the next day Drew and I had to stay home with Bellamy because Nana and Pop were going out of town.  Since we got home so late, Drew decided he would work the afternoon shift and I would go in in the morning.  He said when she woke up in the morning that he wasn't exactly sure how long she had been calling for him, but he heard her at 8:00!
We were both out of it the next day, but it was worth it!  We had so much fun!

Pool Day

One day when we got home from work Bellamy wanted I go outside.  So we got dressed and headed out!  Well, needless to say, it was SCORCHING outside so we quickly changed into our bathing suit and went back out!
We ha a blast playing in the pool and trying to catch butterflies!

Sunday Drive

After church one Sunday, Drew decided he wanted to take a Sunday drive over to Shell Point.  He asked Bellamy of she wanted to ride and she was all over it!  So they loaded up and headed out.

While they were gone I stayed behind to finish up dinner.  As I was cooking my phone started going after.  I got picture after picture of them...

And yes he let her put her "feet" in the water.  And then by feet, it became legs.  And then I get a picture of her getting her pants wet!  Yep, Drew got in trouble!

Then they found some snails and Bellamy was so excited!
They had a blast!  But I was sure glad to get them home!

Happy Birthday Hunny Bunches

We were invited to celebrate Hunt's first birthday a couple of Saturday's ago and we were so excited!  I can't believe he is already ONE!!  Man time is flying!

We knew he was having an Old MacDonald party, so I was excited to see what Meris was going to do for decorations.  Once we got there, it was not a letdown...she had outdone herself once again!
We were greeted at the door with a pig and a John Deere tractor!  As we moved on inside, it kept getting cuter and cuter!  We had lots of good food from the farm and some yummy cake too!  Hunt enjoyed himself after he had a quick snooze!  Them we are cake and opened presents!  After the party festivities, Hunt and Bellamy met up at the watering hole and had a good ol' conversation!
Once the party was over me, Bellamy, Meris, Hunt, and Kylia headed over to Kylia's house.  After much playing, Hunt passed out on the floor!

And on the way home little Bellamy have up the fight too!
We had a blast at his party and can't wait for the next one!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY HUNNY BUNCHES!!  WE LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!

My Little Picasso

Bellamy LOVES to paint and no matter how much I hate it (super messy!), I just can't tell this little face no!
It's just too cute of a little face!

Back To School Party

Back at the beginning of August Kylia and Meris threw a cousins back-to-school party.  They rented out a room at the Homewood Suites in Tallahassee and everybody piled in!  Can you imagine seven kids and three adults in ONE hotel suite?!?!  It was madness I tell you, pure madness!  But we had sooooo much fun!  Oh and one more thing..."no rules" was the only rule of the night.  Are we in for a treat or what?!

When everybody got there, they all wanted to go swimming.  So as some of the kids got dressed, the others decided it would be fun to pile on Helaman!  After playing around, Ryan and Cannon got tired and went to chill on the other bed!
Finally everyone was dressed and ready to go!
So to the pool we went!  The kids had a blast jumping, splashing, washing off in the shower, playing ball, and water guns!  Even Bellamy and Britty got in on the swimming action and were swimming all over the pool in their vests!
This picture has to be my absolute FAVORITE!!  I didn't have any swimmy diapers, so I just put Bellamy in a regular diaper.  Man those things can soak up some water!  Baby got back!
After swimming, then eating, and swimming again, it was time for dessert!

There were so many snacks and sweet treats everywhere that Bellamy was in heaven!  And with the "no rules" rule, I had to succumb!

I think the last kid finally fell asleep around 2:00 or 2:30 (crazy!), or it could've been 1:00...I don't remember!  But finally morning came and guess what time it was...time to eat again!  So we all got dressed and headed down for breakfast!
What a silly group of kids we had there, but it sure was loads of fun!  Thanks Meris and Kylia!  Bellamy had a blast!

Random Cuteness

I'm not absolutely certain when these pictures were taken, but I do know that they are super cute and totally blog worthy!

First we have Bellamy dressed in last year's Halloween costume.  We were outside playing and she kept saying, "I want my duck".  We didn't know what that meant, so we kept playing.  Finally she said, "I want my duck hat, my duck belly, and my duck feet"!  So inside we went to play some dress up!
Next we have Bellamy playing with Drew's ankle brace.  I'm pretty sure I've already posted one of these pictures, but I figured they needed to be posted together!  So here it is again!

And finally we have Bellamy grocery shopping with daddy...and eating a treat!  She loves going to Winn Dixie because they give a free cookie to kid's.  Right when we pull into the parking lot she will always say, "I need to go get my cookie!"!

What a cute little stinker pot! :)

Temple Trip

The first weekend in August our branch planned a temple trip to Orlando.  Since I'm in the Young Women's presidency and Drew is in the branch presidency, we both felt like we needed to go, but we didn't want Bellamy to be miserable...thus making both of us miserable!  So we decided that only one of us would go and the other would stay home with Bellamy.  Now that posed another problem...who would get to go and who would stay?!  The whole week we went back and forth, but never could come to a decision.  So we both decided not to go.

Friday rolls around and Drew ended up waking up at about 3:00 that morning, just out of pure bad luck.  When I woke up at 4:00, I went out to the family room where he was laying on the couch and started hurling his plan at me...we were all going to go!  I was completely fine with that, but that meant I needed to get ready for work AND pack all before I had to leave...for at least me and Bellamy!  It worked out and we still left on time for Tallahassee!

Once we got to Tallahassee, I was telling Ms. Nancy how I may come get her earlier today because we were going to Orlando and she advised me that Beth and Chris and their girls were going down to Orlando too! Maybe everything was going to work out after all...it always seems to!

Bellamy did so good on the drive down!  We only had to stop once for dinner and then we got back on the road.  Once we got to Orlando, we noticed that there was a giant man with a soccer ball near our hotel room and Bellamy was fascinated.  So we had to go meet the "big man".  Also while we were there, we did a lot of relaxing in the room and went to eat at Applebee's (or something like it!).  While we were at the restaurant, a balloon man came around and made Bellamy a balloon monkey.  She was so excited!!
And of course while we were down there, we went to the temple!  Beth and Chris went in the morning and we kept their girls and then Drew and I went in the afternoon while they kept Bellamy for us.  It was so nice to go back to the temple.  I'm ashamed to say how long it's been since we last went, so I'll keep that to myself!  But it was very nice and made us both want to go back again...and a lot sooner!

Sunday Best

As I've said before, trying to get a picture of Bellamy all dressed and ready for church is like trying to pull teeth!  She used to sit in the corner of the couch or the chair and just laugh and smile at whatever I would say.  Now, not so much...
I'm lucky to even get something that looks halfway happy and normal...
Yeah, it's blurry, but at this stage of the game, you take what you can get.  And you're happy with it!  After church she seemed to do a little bit posing with Drew, even giving him kisses!
How sweet is that?!?!  What a little stinker-pot!

After she got up from her nap, we thought we'd start some potty training and see how that worked.  She was very excited about her big-girl-panties!
Unfortunately the excitement didn't last and by the end of the day we had "thrown away" three pairs of panties!  She'll get it one day.  Right?  Please say I'm right!  But until then, we will continue to buy her "purple monkey diapers"!
