Shopping!

I love the fact that I have so many neices!  Not only because they are so much fun, but also because they have lots of good clothes!  The other day I was able to go "shopping" at Meris' for some new clothes for Bellamy.  She was picking B up for me and I had beat her there, which meant one thing...free range!!  It kind of reminded me of the game Supermarket Sweep, if any of you remember that one!  I went through Britts closest and grabbed pretty much everything she had in 6-12 months...dresses, shoes...you name it!!

Once we got home, I couldn't wait to put the little shoes on Bellamy.  She's not a big fan of them, but I figured she needs to get used to them now, because I will not have my baby running around with no shoes on!  After I finally got them on her, she just looked at them and then at me...kind of like, hmmm, get these off of me, please!  Then she crawled over to me, as if I didn't already understand what that look on her face meant!  But she was a good sport for a few minutes!  Hopefully she'll get used to them soon!!

Nighty Night!

Last night as I was dressing Bellamy for bed, I noticed that she was in a new outfit that someone from church had given her.  So what do I do?!  I get out my camera, of course!!
Man, this little girl just melts my heart!

Mommy's Little Cheerleader!

Back in April I decided I wanted to be a runner.  I had ran a little bit while exercising, usually on the treadmill, occasionally on pavement, but nothing regular.  So back in April, I bought me a pair of Nike+ shoes, synced it to my iPhone, bought a couch-to-5k app and started pounding the pavement!  Once I hit week 9, the last week of my training, the wonderful (note the sarcasm) Florida weather put a damper on my plans.  Every afternoon when we would try to run, it was raining...and if it wasn't raining, then we had something to do.  So I took a 3 week hiatus.

Last Saturday I decided it was time to get back in the swing of things, especially since my 5k is coming up mid-August.  So out to the park we go!  Drew decided to run some errands with Bellamy while I ran, because it just gets so hot that she gets fussy and we have to stop.  Just as I was hitting the 25 minute mark of my run, I look up and see them heading to me!  At this part of the game, I'm supposed to be running 30 minutes straight, but I decided 25 was good for today...especially since Bellamy was looking at me and smiling!

After we got home, she was hot (as usual!) so we took off her onesie and let her play around!  As I was sitting on the floor stretching, she was crawling over to me to play.  So I took off my hat and put it on her head!  All she did was just look at me...I was so surprised that she didn't try to grab it and pull it off!  She even kept it on long enough for me to snap a couple pictures!

We sure do love this little thing!  She always brings a smile to our faces!!

Where's Bellamy...

There she is!!

The other day it was feeding time for Bellamy and she did not want to come out of her hiding spot!  We called and called, and waited and waited (guess we should've just gone and gotten her!), but all to no avail!  Finally we bribed her out of hiding...and it worked!

De-Struct-O Baby!

Every since Bellamy has become mobile, she is into EVERY.THING.  Which is fine, because at this age it's still cute, right?!  Anyway, Drew has some pictures on the bottom shelf of our coffee table (perfect height for B!) and every time she spots them, she makes a b-line for them!  We usually go get them from her, but this time we decided we would let her have some fun!

First she grabs, sits up, then stares at them...
Then, you guessed it...STRAIGHT FOR THE MOUTH!!
 Nibble some...
Then on to more important things...TV!!

Mary, Mary, Quite Contrary...

How does your garden grow?!

This year we grew us a little garden...in pots, but a garden still the same!  Anyway, we got some plants from Aunt Becky (red/yellow tomatoes, pickling/regular cucumbers) and then we purchased some bell peppers and pulled out our green thumbs!  I wish I would've taken pictures of all our hard work, but I forgot!  I know we got several of the tomatoes and cucumbers and they were super yummy!  We were starting to think that our peppers weren't going to get big enough to eat, but we were wrong!  The other night for dinner we sliced up these bad boys and they were delish...small, but VERY flavorful!!

Fun With Nana and Pop

Since Bellamy stays with her Nana and Pop, she gets to go out on a lot of adventures!  From the grocery store, to the park, to visiting her cousins, and everything in between!  Here are just a few pictures of emails that I've gotten regarding their many travels!

I got this picture saying that Bellamy was playing Barbie with her cousins...but it looks like Bellamy WAS the barbie!!

Squeaky

The other day we were playing with Bellamy on the floor and found one of her squeaky books.  She had been playing with it off and on, but never really figured out how to get it to squeak.  So Drew decides to show her how it's done and this was the end result...
I just LOVE her little laugh!  Anytime she smiles or laughs, it just melts my heart!

Happy 4th of July!!

For the 4th of July we decided that we were all going to hang out at the house and just chill!!  So we did just that!  We slept in (well, Drew and Bellamy did!), and then ran up to Wal-Mart for who knows what!

Bellamy had a good day too!  She started out the day in a dress that her Aunt Beth made for her.  It was soo cute!

After that dress, we changed her into something else!  This dress was special to us, so I just HAD to see her in it!  Last summer (when I was about 4-5 months pregnant) we went up to North Carolina and while we were there, we rode into Tennessee and hit up the Tanger outlets and did some shopping for our little girl!  This was one of the outfits we bought her!
**I love these 2 pics...her little chubby legs are to die for!!**
Around 3:00, Drew decided he wanted to run up to Tallahassee to see his parents, so up we went!  Emily and her bunch were still there, so we snapped a quick picture of the two babies.
Poor Bellamy missed her afternoon nap, so she caught a snooze on the way home!

All-in-all, we had a great 4th!  We are so very thankful for the many men and women that serve our country and defend our freedoms daily.

Sippy Cup

I can't believe I'm already posting about a sippy cup!  It seems like yesterday I was still pregnant and BEGGING her to hurry up and get here!  Anyway, as I mentioned in a previous post, we decided to get Bellamy a sippy cup and start giving her water in it.  At first she just looked at it and kind of pushed it around.  Within a minute or two, she found the handles and put it to her mouth...just like everything else!  Next thing we know, she is sitting there holding her cup and watching TV like she's an old pro!!

Party Girl!

On Saturday, July 02, 2011, Bellamy and I got ourselves ready for a par-tay!  My little niece Ryan was celebrating her 3rd (oh my gosh, I'm getting so old!) birthday and Bellamy and I headed to Tallahassee to help her celebrate!  Unfortunately Drew couldn't go with us, he was stuck working...boo(!), so I snapped him a picture of his little girl to enjoy while sweating it up in the woods!
**not the best pic, I know, but it served its purpose**

Bellamy's Goddies!

The other day, June 28th, I took Bellamy in for her 6 month checkup.  6 months you say?!  I know, I can't believe it either!!  Anyway, while at the doctor she measured 24 inches long (couldn't get a good length because she HATES being on her back!!) and weighed in at a whopping 15lbs 13 oz!! She also had to get shots while we were there, 3 to be exact.  Not a fun day for her...or me either.  I absolutely HATE leaving her on those days (every day, but especially those days!)

Anyway, we decided that when we went grocery shopping on that Friday that we would buy Bellamy a small gift for doing soooo good on her shots!  So we picked her up a little toy giraffe and her very own sippy cup (more on that later!)!!  While we were there, we decided to start her on some food as well, so we picked her up some green beans and carrots.  She's growing up so fast, it's crazy!

Bounce With Me, Bounce With Me!

Several post earlier, I mentioned how Bellamy loves jumping on the exersaucer that she has over at Nana and Pop's house.  So what do we do?  We go and get her one!  I started out looking on Craigslist and found one for $8, but when we got up to Tallahassee to get it, it was soooo not what I wanted!  Next I emailed some other sellers, but I never heard back from them, so of course I got mad at that point!  Next thing I know we are sitting at Crispers getting dinner and talking about going to Target to just buy our own!  And we did just that!

After church the next day, I couldn't take it any longer...I tore open the box like a kid on Christmas day and started putting it together!!  With Drew's help, we had it assembled in less than 30 minutes!
I love this picture!  She kept crawling towards it while we were putting it together and we kept having to deter her attention!  But once we got it put up, the game was on!  The first set of pics were pre-nap...how dumb was I?!  Did I really just put her in this awesome toy to PLAY before putting her down for a nap?!?!

The next couple of pics are post-nap!  Thankfully she went down without a fight, but was ready to play again once she got up!

I love this picture!  I just love her chubby little legs and feet!!
