Splish, Splash...

Saturday after the recital, Drew brought home a surprise for Bellamy...her very own pool!  When we went to the beach a couple of weeks ago I noticed that they had kiddie pools at the Dollar General for $8.00...you can't beat that!  So on his way home from the baseball game, Drew stopped and picked one up for her.  She was so excited when she woke up from her nap and saw it!  Have a looksy!
Shortly after this we got her ready to go for a dip...a skinny dip!  Normally I would have put her in a diaper, but since I haven't bought the swimmer diapers yet, I'm not wasting my good diapers on this.  Plus they get so full and it's just gross!  Anyway, so outside we went!

She had so much fun playing in her new little pool!  No matter how cold the water was or how hot it gets outside, she just loves the good ol' outdoors!  I love these next little pictures!  It really shows how much she enjoyed her little present!

After a while though, she got bored with the pool and decided she wanted to go play elsewhere!
I know she is going to KILL me one day for this picture, but who can resist a cute, little baby booty?!  Not me!  When she got finished running around we all headed inside for some rest and relaxation...and snacks too, don't forget the snacks!

Ryan's Dance Recital

This past Saturday we were super busy!  Our day started off by heading up to Tallahassee to watch Ryan in her end-of-the-year dance recital.  She was so cute and did such an awesome job!  Here is a quick shot of the little star!
Prior to all this though, we had to watch the show.  At about the ninth performance I noticed Bellamy felt super wet, so I was going to quickly go change her.  As I was almost out the door, Meris tells me that Ryan is next!  So we hang out in the back and watch her cute little dance!  When she was finished I headed out to change B and by the time we got finished, I knew she wasn't going to go back in there and sit down.  So I just opted to keep her out in the hall.  She had a blast just running around!

She crawled up and down, and up and down, and up and down (you get it!) the stairs so many times that I lost count!  I kept trying to get a cute picture of her, but she was too busy running around.  This was about as good as it got!

Terah even tried to get a picture of her and hers didn't turn out either!
Oh well!  We had fun and at least I was able to get something to document her first dance recital!  Here's to many more!

To The Doctor We Go...

Again!  As I stated in Bellamy's last post, her rash came back again.  I kind of had a fear that it was the same thing as last time, so I quickly made her doctor's appointment on Friday.  I ended up getting her an appointment at Urgent Care at 12:30, so I left work at 11:30 and headed over to get the little stink!

Once I got there she was so happy to see me!  I got a report that she didn't eat a good lunch, so immediately she was in trouble!  :)  So I loaded her up and we headed on over to the doctor.  I caught this cute little picture for Drew on our drive there.
What a little mess!  Needless to say she didn't realize we were going to the doctor or I can assure you she wouldn't have been this happy!  Once we get there we checked in and almost immediately we are taken to a room.  She wasn't too happy with the nurse trying to check her temperature under her arm or the fact that she wanted to see the rash.  So she had a melt down.  Shortly after the nurse left and I got her clothed again, she perked back up!  She noticed the doctor's chair and started spinning it around.  She thought this was the funniest thing ever!

Once the doctor came in, she began to cling and cry again.  We made it out alive though!  They said this time it looked like a yeast-type rash and to try using some OTC medicine.  So we headed to Wal-Mart to do some quick shopping.  Total waste of $25.00 if you ask me, but oh well.  Better safe then sorry!

When we finally made it home, she was happy as a clam!  She ate a good lunch, then we played.  Well, mostly she played.  Today was the actual day she made it on the couch (see previous post with video)!  After she made it up there I started snapping some pictures in delight!

She just loves getting up there and resting now!  Bless her little heart!  Hopefully we can beat this thing for good!

A First...

Last week Bellamy and I were lounging around the house after work.  There was an episode.  Her little diaper rash came back...boo.  By the time we got home she was so red and in so much pain that we couldn't even change her, we just had to put her in the tub and bathe her.  That night I had to bathe her twice.  It was horrible.  Drew had church that night so it was just me and little B.

Here are some cute little pictures I caught of her just lounging on her pillows.  I love this!  It's just so simple and cute!

As far as the first, here it is!  Bellamy has now taken an interest in climbing.  Not my favorite "first", but it was inevitable, I know!  Anyway, she's been trying to climb up on the couch for the last few days, so I decided to document her efforts!  The next couple of videos show her trying her hardest!  The first video is my favorite!

She tried and tried the whole rest of the day!  Unfortunately she wasn't successful, however later she was!  By Friday, she was climbing up on the couch without any assistance from anybody!
She is getting to be such a big girl!  Everyday I look at her and I see less and less baby and more and more big girl!  But she will always be our little baby!

Teddy

The other day I had a sweet reminder of my little girl when I got in the car to leave work...
Her little Teddy bear was propped up in my dash!  I snapped this picture so I could send to Drew to hold him over until we got home!  Used to when we were driving, she liked to hold Teddy and cuddle with him, but now she has gotten to where she wants you to hold him up front with you.  It's so sweet!

Pop's Pics

The other day I got a ton of pictures of Bellamy while she was hanging out with Nana and Pop.  They started out playing some golf with Bellamy's new set of clubs...
Later that day they loaded her up in the pool...naked, might I add!  And she had a blast!  She was still splashing around when I got there and did NOT want to leave!
A couple of days later, they let her get back in the pool, but this time they opted for a swimsuit...and her diaper.  When she got finished playing, her diaper was so super full!  She almost looked like one of those caricature pictures!  I immediately busted out laughing when I saw it!
What a sweet little girl!  And a great Nana and Pop for documenting her cuteness while Drew and I are at work!

Family Home Evening

Last Monday when I went to pick up Bellamy she was playing in the sandbox.  As I went to get her she pitched a fit because she wasn't ready to leave.  So I promised her that after we had FHE that we would go outside and play until her heart was contect.  The following is what ensued.

As we were driving home, she was so tired.  Poor little thing missed her afternoon nap, so she could barely hold her eyes open on the ride home.  The first picture is one I snapped of her while at a redlight and the next one is where she finally gave in and drifted off to sleep.  My poor little, tired rag-a-muffin!

When we finally got her home, fed, and had her lesson, we put her in her diaper and sent her out to play.  You'd think she was in heaven!  She started out by getting her toes in the sand...

The she realized that the dirt was nice and wet, so she decided to take a load off...
After she played in the dirt for a few minutes, Drew decided to show her how it was done!
She had so much fun playing with him!  I love this next picture because it shows how intently she was focused on what she was doing!  Plus that face and that little belly...couldn't you just eat it right up?!
Once she got all rested up, she decided she needed to do some running around!  And that she did!  By this point she was filthy from head-to-toe, but that didn't matter to her.  She was having a ball!  And for once in my life, I just let her go!
When it was time to pack up and head back inside, we decided to rinse her off so that she didn't muddy up our nice clean shower.  But she had another idea, she wanted to drink the water!  It was so precious!
After seeing how much fun she has outside, we definitely make a point to take her out more often.  It's not only good for her to get outside and run off some of that energy, but it's good for us to do that with her!  We sure love her and want to do everything that will make her even more happy then she already is!

Monkey See, Monkey Do...

Every night before Bellamy goes to bed, I give her a little bit of milk.  I'm currently trying to break her of this, so she only gets about 2 oz.  It's a comfort thing, I get that.  Anyway, before we put her in the tub, I'll go in the kitchen, fix her milk, put it in some warm water and then go back to her bedroom and put it by her chair.  I've done this for so long now, that I guess she's beginning to catch on!

The other day after she ate, she started rummaging through our pots.  She so rarely gets in this cabinet anymore, but I didn't think anything of it.  As I went to her room later that evening to get my work clothes and her outfit for the next day ready, I noticed this...
What a little genius!  She went and put the pot by her chair...guess that was her subtle way of telling me she was ready for bed!

Time With Daddy

After working at his new job for the last almost 6 months, Drew decided it was time to take a couple of days off.  In doing so, he got to stay home with Bellamy...lucky dog!  So here are some pictures of the things they did together and the little messages I got along with the pictures!
"Good Morning Mommy!  I've got my ducks, but I'd rather have you!!! XOXO"
"Best Friends...look what I found!"  (her teddy bear!)
"Tuckered out already?!"
"Big Girl...feeding herself and doing amazingly well!"
"Pillow Time...she loves those things!"
"We miss you mommy!"
"Laid back...Sunshine, Sunshine Reggae!"  She absolutely LOVES listening to Sunshine Reggae on YouTube!
"Arty Party...coloring a picture for Mama while watching Bonnie Bear.  She's a multi-tasker!"
"We totally need to put her hair into a pony tail.  It would be so cute!"  (Drew's probably going to kill me for that one!)
"We've got to break her of this...who knows what else she's dumping in there...!"  She likes to go "throw it in the garbage", so she's taken this to heart!  When Drew sent me this picture she had thrown away her second coaster!
"I'm up!  She loves her green peas!  Took a few bites of tuna fish and started her "swat" routine!  Munchin' on some cracker too!"
Next I got these two pictures.  I asked him if he had SQUEEZED her in them and I got this response back..."I guess she's outgrown the, huh?!?!"
"Is this better?  I have white bloomers on her too..."  I explained that if she's wearing a onesie, then she doesn't have to have bloomers on...it just makes it tighter and more uncomfortable for her!  He tried though!
The next morning..."Havin' fun with the duckies!  We decided to stay home and just relax today!"
"Farmer Girl!"  This is a jalapeno pepper plant that Drew got from his parents.  Until we put it in the ground last week, she would carry it around like a baby doll!

They sure did have a lot of fun together!  I'm so thankful for a husband that loves spending time with his little girl.  Anytime I ask Drew to feed her or take her to the store with him, or anything...he's all about it!  He sure does love his little girl!

Dress Up

Last week I ran by Meris' house and grabbed a box of clothes that Brittyn had outgrown.  I must admit, I LOVE the fact that I'm able to get nice, gently worn clothes, for free!  And with her kids being as stylish as they are, that's just an added bonus!

So I got home and immediately started going through the box looking for new clothes for Bellamy.  I first spotted this little jacket/vest and wanted to put it on Bellamy.  I threw it on her and she seemed to like it!  She kept it on for a good 15-20 minutes!
She looked so cute in it, i couldn't wait to try on something else!  Drew spotted a little Seminoles tshirt and wanted to know if it fit.  Dangit...her head was just a tad bit to big!  Next up I found a pair of pink converse sneakers.  Perfect match! (Don't you just LOVE that cute little belly?!?!)
Since it was so close to bath time I decided to just let her run around in her new sneakers.  Next thing I know, she brought me back the little jacket!  So I threw that on her too!

She looked so cute!  I have to be honest though, it does scare me a bit about what her fashion choices are going to be like as she gets older!  Oh well, guess we'll just roll with the punches!
