Butterfly Cup

When Aunt Becky brought over the heavenly chocolate peanut butter stuff, she also included a filtered sports bottle cup. The first time she saw it, she was in love!

Now they are inseparable!! Thanks Aunt Becky!!

New Year's Eve

As usual, New Years Eve is not a big to-do in our house! Since we had the day off, I loaded up Bellamy to go do some shopping!

I'd been wanting a toy organizer of some sort, so I was DETERMINED to find one. We started our search at Wal-Mart in Crawfordville. No success there. But I did find Bellamy a cute little teddy bear that played "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star"...she was in love!

Next we moved on up to Tallahassee. We started at Target and after looking around on my own, asking for hep, receiving useless information, and looking again...I found what I was looking for! So we bought it and headed to our next stop!

Next up was DSW...it's literally like heaven on earth!! Drew had bought me some heels for Christmas, but since I already had some like it, I got to take them back and pick out some more! I was able to buy 2 beautiful pairs of shoes...I LOVE a good sale!! No pictures though...sorry!

After DSW, we rode over to Meris' and visited for a little bit and then we headed home. By the time we got home, Bellamy was done! So down she went for a nap and to work I went! I put together her toy organizer (with a little help from Drew) and got everything just where I wanted it! We cleaned out the space right by the kitchen so Bellamy could have we own little toy space!

By the time she woke up, I had also assembled her Little People castle she got for Christmas! She was delighted to see it! So I snapped a picture for Nana and Pop to enjoy!

After she played with this for a while, it was time to light some fireworks! Bellamy was only mildly impressed with this, but I documented anyway!

She was way more excited to go out and see Frosty then she was the fireworks!

Next up was dinner...and since it was New Years Eve...dessert followed! Noting big...but Aunt Becky brought us over some Jiff Chocolate Peanut Butter and it is to die for!! So Bellamy had some too...I think her face clearly says that she agrees!

We had a fun New Year's Eve just being together! We are so thankful for a happy, healthy little girl who always makes us smile!! Here's to many more New Year's Eve's!!!

Manicure

Bellamy LOVES getting her nails done...and most recently, her toenails!! After we got home from Destin, I re-painted her fingernails. Everytime I paint her nails or toes, I give strict orders not to touch anything!!!! Shortly after it was time for dinner and this is what I caught her doing...

Blowing dry her fingernails!! What a little diva!!

Destin, Day 3

Come Sunday morning, it was time to check out of our hotel.  We loaded all our stuff up on the cart (including Bellamy!), and headed out the door!  I forgot to mention earlier that our hotel had these little fountain type things in them and Bellamy was fascinated with them.  So on the way out, she touched them one last time!
I would love to tell you that we stayed in this hotel...
But that would be a lie!  Isn't it gorgeous though?!  We did stay in one of their properties, but it was nothing like this!  It was nice, so let's move on!

We don't usually shop on Sundays, but there were a few things that we needed to exchange and pick up, so we went and finished up our running around.  While we were doing so, Bellamy and I sat in the car and had some snacks and played on the phone!  By the time he was done, it was time to see the beach one last time before we headed on home.  Here are some shots of Bellamy on the beach.  And also some videos!  I don't usually like posting videos on my blog because when I print it, the spaces are just empty, but these are too funny and cute not to post!  So here's to blank spots in my book!

I just love her cute little footprints in the sand!

She had soooooooo much fun feeding the birds!  As you can see, she didn't quite like the bird stealing her last piece of bread...she even went after him to get it back!

After spending time at the beach (in the cold), we packed up and to begin the long trek home.  We barely made it off the beach before Bellamy fell asleep and then wound up sleeping the whole way home!
We sure had tons of fun in Destin!  The shopping was OK, but watching Bellamy get so excited about the birds made the whole trip worth it!  But honestly, I was ready to go home!  I was ready to sleep in my own bed, with my own pillow, and just me and Drew!  Not that I don't absolutely love and adore Bellamy, it's just her feet in my face, popping up in the middle of the night and wanting to play all means no sleep for Mommy...and I was pure beat!

Destin, Day 2

So the next morning, Bellamy wakes up all chipper...of course!  Drew and I, on the other hand, was a different story.  Oh well, time for some shopping, so I perked right up!  We decided to hit the Silversands Outlet Mall as our starting point.  Here is Drew and Bellamy posing for our first (of many!) photos of the day!
After hitting part of the outlet mall, it was time to stop and let Bellamy run around.  She was being such a trooper in the stroller, we decided to reward her by letting her play at the little park...in the freezing cold!

She loved "riding the turtle"...think riding the pony, but a turtle instead!  She had so much fun swinging and going down the slide too!  After we played for a while, it was time to continue our shopping journey!  We went into Ralph Lauren to look for some stuff for Drew, and you just can't skip the kids side...they have some of the cutest clothes for kids!  While we were in there we found a little hat and mitten set.  Bellamy LOVES our oven mitts...she calls them puppets.  Once I saw this, Drew and I both knew we just had to get Bellamy her very own set of "puppets"!  She was in love!  Didn't want to take them off!
Next up was a snack break.  We carried snacks with us, but she needed to be changed too.  Since she LOATHES changing tables, it was back to the car...in the cold.  She hated every minute of it, but we promised her a banana, so she stuck it out!
By the time we finished the outlet malls, it was way past nap time for little B.  However, I still wanted to look around at Destin Commons.  So off we went...and to sleep she went!  I ran around the whole strip mall across the street from Commons and then Commons...and she was still asleep!
When I finished running around, Drew wanted to go to the beach.  So we did.  And when we got there, I was just going to let him go out there and let her sleep, but she ended up waking up, so out we went!  She needed to be changed again (in the cold), but I bribed her with some cookies to keep her down!  Then Drew decided to feed the birds with her cookies.  She thought that was hilarious!  By the time we headed out to the beach, all she could say was "Feed the birdies the cookies!".  But of course, we had to stop for pictures first!  Here are a few shots of us at the beach!
What a beautiful sunset!

 Our little family...

When the cookies were gone and our bodies frozen off, we decided to head back to the hotel room.  So we grabbed some dinner to go and headed on back.  After we ate dinner and played around a while, I decided I wanted some ice cream.  So out Drew went!  While he was gone, me and Bellamy just played around the room!  She spotted the ice chest and was in heaven!  I snapped these pictures for Drew so he could see what his little "angel" was up to!  She drug this over and climbed in all on her own!
Shortly after our pictures he got back with dessert.  Unfortunately the ice cream store was closed, so he hit up Whataburger for some shakes.  They weren't good...at all...but that didn't stop Bellamy!  She ate almost all of mine and kept smiling and saying, "ice cream, ice cream!".  What a rotten little mess!  When she got finished she wanted to play some games for a little bit.  So I caved!
Then it was time for bed...finally!  Same scenario as the first night...but at least tonight I would be somewhat prepared for what was to come!

Destin, Day 1

Drew is always saying (bugging) how he wants to go to the beach.  So for part of his (our) Christmas present, I decided to book us a little getaway...Bellamy included!  But since I know the holidays are so busy and we wanted to just spend a weekend at home without having to go anywhere, I decided I needed to hint around to see if he would be interested in going.  Thankfully I did that.  He didn't want to go anywhere...which put a total kibosh on my plans.

Well, Christmas had come and gone and guess what?  He decided he wanted to go...big surprise there!  So we had some time off and I got back into booking mode!  I found us a room and we hit the road!

On our way there, we stopped at Arby's.  If anybody knows me well enough, you know I love Arby's.  So much so that everytime our TomTom passes one, it moo's!  Anyway, to Arby's we went.  It just so happened that Bellamy noticed both Drew and I wearing our sunglasses and she just had to have her's...so she got them!  And she wore them into Arby's too!  Drew snapped these few pictures as we waited for our food.

She was being such a little ham while we were in the restaurant!  We kept saying over and over how we couldn't believe she wasn't asleep.  Not long after we loaded up and got back on the road, her cute little self was sacked out!
When we FINALLY got to Destin, she was awake and ready to go!  So we checked into our hotel, which backed up to the bay (I think).  Either way, it was a photo-op, so we did just that!

Once we got in our room, Bellamy found the perfect chair for her and climbed right on up!  She just loves being a big girl!
When I mentioned that we needed just one bed at check in, they said they would bump me up to a king, but when we got in the room, we had two doubles.  We didn't need two doubles, so back to the front desk I went!  When I came back it was time to move rooms.  This didn't bother Bellamy, she was happy to get on the elevator!  Once we got in our new room, we tossed the suitcase on the bed and started unpacking.  Since we now had a HUGE bed, all Bellamy could think about doing was jumping.  So up she climbed and to town she went!

She loved perching herself up on the suitcase and watching us do all the heavy lifting!  Then she found the phone.  She loves a phone, particularly mine.  But this time it didn't matter!  She figured out quickly that this phone had a super long cord and would go wherever she wanted.  And that's exactly what she did!  She dragged this thing from one end of the room to the other!
As I said earlier, she loves jumping on the bed.  Kind of scary, but I watch her closely.  After she had been jumping for a while, I decided she needed a good tickle.  So I jumped on the bed with her and took her down!  She just laughed and laughed!  Then we snuggled a bit, which was so super sweet!

That night we ended up going to Wal-Mart (where else?!) to pick up a few groceries and other things, then bedded down for the night.  Night time was a dread.  The last time we stayed overnight at a hotel, Bellamy did amazing!  Not so much this time.  We did our normal routine and as soon as we put her in the pack-and-play, she went right down.  So far so good!  Then I jumped in the shower.  When I got out she was standing up.  So I told her to lay back down.  I must have hurt her feelings...she went to crying.  Since I was tired and needed some sleep, I picked her up and we all went to bed...in the king bed...which felt like a single bed with Bellamy in it.  She has NEVER slept in our bed except when she was an infant and she stayed strictly on my chest.  This ought to be fun.  Night, Night, sleep tight...or try to at least!

Cleaning The Church

The week of Christmas, we were assigned to clean the church.  Usually this wouldn't be a bad thing, but we were trying to pack to head out of town.  I thought though that since there were no meetings on Wednesday, that it wouldn't be that bad.  I was wrong.  Of course.  So we got in and got started.

Usually when we clean the church, one person does most of the cleaning and the other watches Bellamy.  This time, however, she wanted to help out!  Which we were very grateful for!  So she pitched in as best as she could!

She would push the garbage can around for us as we gathered the trash!  I love how you can only see her little head and bow in that one picture!  After we gathered all the trash, naturally the next step was to take it out!  So as Drew took out the dirty bag, he tied it off and threw it on the floor by the door.  Bellamy thought this would make the PERFECT seat for her!  So she took a load off!
Normally I wouldn't let my kid sit on the trash, but this came from the church, so it's holy trash, right?!  When it was time to go, she picked up the trash bag and headed out the door!  I filmed her taking it out, but it was dark, so you can't really see good...and of course, my phone was acting up on me, so even though I turned on the light, it did me no good!  Oh well, you'll get it!
She is such a big helper!!  Hopefully she'll remember how fun it is to clean the church when she gets older!

Silly Girl

After all the Christmas festivities, I would venture to say that Bellamy was wiped out!  But somehow she manages to still be silly and bring a smile to my face!

Here she is playing with (on) some of her new toys...
And no, I didn't send her to Nana and Pop's with a red bow and a pink shirt!!  It just so happens that she loves all bows and doesn't want them to fill left out.  As I picked her up, I grabbed her red bow to hang on her bag.  She saw it, wanted it, end of story.  Off came the pink bow, in went the red bow!

Next up I caught her playing on the arm of the couch, something she TOTALLY shouldn't be doing.  But I grabbed my camera and made a go out of it!
I just love how everytime the camera is pointed at her, she automatically says "Hey Terah!"!!  It just makes me smile!  Love this little thing!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

When Christmas morning finally rolled around, I was so excited!  After seeing all the loot Santa had left for Bellamy, I just couldn't wait to see her excitement!  Since we put her to bed so late, we ended up letting her sleep in and just wake herself up when she was ready.

Around 10:00am I hear her chirping.  So I ran and got Drew and in we went!  We told her Merry Christmas, gave her some kisses and then took her in to get her diaper changed, all while shielding her from all of Santa's goodies!  Once I got her changed, Drew got the camera ready to film her as she made the big discovery.  Have a look!  **Disclaimer...my phone tends to act up when I needed to act right, so the sound is a little off until the end.  You get the picture (movie) though.**
She wasn't as excited as I would've liked, but I'm trying to remember that she was still very tired.  So we played with the kitchen for a minute or two and then I tried to encourage her to open other gifts.  She didn't want anything to do with that.  At on point she said, "Eat, now".  Here is a short video of that!
So eat is what we did!
You can tell I was less then enthused about this because I wanted her to be excited.  Oh well, it is what it is!  Here are some pictures we got of her with her toys.

I love the way she lounges in her chair!

After playing with her toys for a little bit and me and Drew opening ours, it was time to get dressed and head up to Tallahassee for Christmas dinner with Nana and Pop, the Raines' family, and a friend of Mr. Lee's.  On the ride up, Bellamy just had to take her cookies...she's in love with these things!  At least she loves something we got her!!
We made a cute movie for Aunt Becky on the way up, but of course my sound messed up, so you'll just have to enjoy the pictures!  When we got on Centerville Road, Bellamy fell asleep.  I sure wish I had that luxury!

Once we got to Nana and Pops, we ate dinner and then went outside to run some of it off!  Little did I know that Uncle Drew had promised to take all the kids to the park.  So Galen and I loaded up to help out!  Here we are all loaded down in the wagon...and some other shots of us at the park!
Since I was the one chasing Bellamy, I had the pleasure of helping her up the slide...

Unfortunately for me...since Samantha was hot on my heels, there was only one way down!

After swinging and sliding and having all sorts of fun, it was time to load up and head back to the house.  Poor little Samantha had stepped in some dog poo, so she had to be stripped down for the ride home!  And Bellamy was determined to pull the wagon back, just like she does with Nana and Pop...

But she gave in and hopped on inside!
Shortly after we got back to the house, it was time for us to take it on back to the house!  And we weren't even out of Killearn before little Miss B fell fast asleep...with cookies in hand!
We sure had a good Christmas holiday!  We are so lucky to have our families close by to enjoy the holiday season together!

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYBODY!!
