Pop's Pics

Here are a few of Pop's pictures of Bellamy. Some are old, some are new, but they are ALL just as precious as they can be!

Since I can't stay home with Bellamy, I'm glad she gets to stay with her Nana and Pop...especially so I can get picture updates of her day!

Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree

After we did all our birthday and party shopping, we decided that we needed a tree. We had gone back and forth with the idea of getting a real tree or just putting up our artificial tree, but since time was running out, we jumped in and bought a real one! Usually I'm not a fan, but it was fun actually going to the "farm", picking out our tree, and driving it home!

Once we got home, we got it set up then sat back and watched Bellamy! She immediately honed in on the tree and made a b-line for it! It was so cute to watch her pet it and pull on it!

On Sunday, Drew took Bellamy up for Beth's party and I decided to stay home, as I was wore slap out! So as they were gone, I decided to hang the lights! Once they got home and Bellamy noticed the lights, it was like a repeat of Friday...she honed in, made a b-line, and went to town! She loved pulling on the lights and touching them! She kept putting them in her mouth and we would stop her, but of course she just kept doing it. Next thing I know, I turned my head for literally one second, the whole bottom strand of lights went dark!! You guessed it...she bit one out of the socket!! Thankfully she didn't break it, just pulled it out! So I swooped in and grabbed the light and we were back in business!!

What a little scamp we have!

Birthday Shopping Excursion

The Friday before Bellamy's birthday party I took off work so I could finish up any last minute details that needed my attention. So Friday morning, I load up Bellamy and we head to Tallahassee. We first stopped at Wal-Mart to pick up a gift for my work party, where I then documented this adventure for her daddy!

After we finished up at Wal-Mart, we ran by my work and dropped off my gift. It was fun to get to visit with my work peeps outside of work and let them see Bellamy...she's always a big hit wherever we go!!

Next up on our date was to pick up Drew and shop for her birthday! I will say it was nice to have an extra set of hands to help with Bellamy! We started out by going to Michaels and getting a few things and then the fun began!! Next up we headed over to the mall to meet Santa!! Since Bellamy is still pretty young, she enjoyed sitting on Santa's lap and telling him what she wanted for Christmas!

Next up we went to Target for some presents. After we loaded up the buggy with a few gifts, I snapped this picture of Bellamy with all her loot!

Once we left Target, Bellamy was so excited about her pig that we bought her that I just had to go ahead and give it to her! Now it was time to head home! So we drop Drew off at work to get his car and I leave with Bellamy. Since she had to sit in the back by herself, I figured I'd leave pig back there with her. Well half way home I noticed she had gotten super quiet, when usually she is very talkative. So when I got to a red light, I looked over her rear facing car-seat (the devil!) and what do I see?! Why there she was content EATING the cardboard paper on pigs packaging! Of course I grab it from her, but the damage was done!

I'm so glad I got to spend this day with my sweet girl! We had so much fun!!

Photo Shoot, Take 2

So after our photo shoot with Bellamy's cousins, we headed out to meet Brittany Dransfield to do a small shoot of just Bellamy. I must admit I was very nervous! At this point, it was probably 3:30 in the afternoon, Bellamy had only had about an hour or so nap. I was so scared she wasn't going to do good in her pictures, but boy did she surprise me! She did sooooo good...so much so that we were able to use them for our Christmas card this year. Yay!!

Photo Shoot, Take 1

So back in November (I know, this is super late!) we went up to Bradley's Country Day. I don't usually enjoy that, but I did this year for some reason! I think I enjoyed it more because Bellamy was there and she was so fun to watch!

After we were finished there, we headed over to Beth's for a Christmas shot of the grandkids. This was a challenge! With seven kids, two of which are infants, this was no easy task! But after some bribing (Fun Station) and chocolate...we got it to work! And the pictures turned out great!!

Pops Pics

Here are Pops latest pictures in the adventures of babysitting!!

Vroom, Vroom

Bellamy is such my little helper! Her new chore of choice is to vacuum! She loves the noise it makes! When I'm vacuuming, she tries to follow behind me to see what it does!! She even likes to touch it while it's running and then use it as a climbing toy when it's not in use!

Sunday Snaps

Last Sunday at church as I was waiting on Drew to come to the car, Bellamy got a little squirmy so I set her on the grass to play.  She was too cute to pass up...I just had to get out my camera and snap a few pictures!

The Talented Jamie Longfellow!

The other day Mr. Lee was out in the yard with Bellamy letting her play in the leaves and have a grand ol' time.  He said that the next thing he knew, a big black SUV pulled into his driveway and out pops Jamie Longfellow!  She said that as she was driving by she saw Bellamy in the yard playing and just had to come snap a few pictures!  Well she did...and they are great!  I tell you what, there is nothing this lady can't do!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Ok...so I know I'm a little late with this, but at least it's going up!  Anyway, for Thanksgiving this year (Bellamy's FIRST!), we went up to Tallahassee to celebrate with the Vass'.  On our way up there I realized that Bellamy didn't have anything festive to wear...a big no-no in my book!  So what do we do?!  We stop by Wal-Mart and find her a "My First Thanksgiving" onesie, which I was so excited about!
Bellamy in her "Pre-Thanksgiving" outfit

Once we finally made it up to Tallahassee, we fed Bellamy her breakfast and then put her down for a quick nap so she wouldn't be grouchy when everybody got there!  After she woke up, it was time for pictures!  Ms. Nancy had bought all the grandkids a pilgrim hat, but since they didn't really fit Bellamy and Samantha, they didn't get one...but that didn't stop me!  I snagged a hat from one of the kids and went in for a picture!  Poor Bellamy didn't really care for the hat!  It kept sliding down when we would go to take the picture, but eventually we got it to work!
After lunch we all headed outside to burn off some calories and enjoy the nice day.  We had fun just playing in the grass and leaves and watching all the kids run around.  After we played for a while, we got a wild hair and decided to walk down to the park and swing.  Bellamy loves going to the park!  She had so much fun swinging on the swings and sliding down the "giant" slide with Mommy!  The slide probably wasn't the smartest idea I've ever had, but we had fun!

After all was said and done, we had a great Thanksgiving!  It was fun spending time with the whole family, which is rare because usually somebody is missing!  Here's hoping everybody's Thanksgiving was as good as ours!

Pops Pics

Here are a few shots of Pops pictures of Bellamy.  These go back a couple of weeks, but I've been a little behind and now I'm trying to play catch-up!

My Little Cheerio Queen

I know that I've said on here many times how much Bellamy loves to eat!  Her latest thing that she loves to snack on is Cheerios!  When we are riding in the car and I say, "Bellamy, do you want a Cheerio?!", she automatically reaches her hand up for it!  And since I don't want to hear her scream the whole way home, I will hand her back a Cheerio...and this goes on for most of our ride!  There is, however, on occasion when the Cheerio misses Bellamy's hand and falls in her seat.

The other night when we got home, Drew went home teaching and Bellamy and I were chilling at the house.  I was doing my usual thing and Bellamy was crawling around on the floor.  When I looked up I noticed she was pilfering in her car seat...then she started chewing.  Of course I freaked...especially because I couldn't just jump up!  So I watched her go in her seat again and do the same thing.  This time I heard a little crunch and knew exactly what she was doing...she had found her Cheerios that had dropped out of her hand on the way home!

After she found them all, she crawled over to me as if she wanted some more!  Unfortunately I didn't have any, but she was quiet content just hanging out on the couch with me!
