Happy Birthday Samantha

So Sunday rolled around and it was little Samantha's 2nd birthday!  As Bellamy was eating breakfast, I got her to make Samantha a cute little birthday video!
After we had our breakfast, we got dressed and headed up to church.  Unfortunately I didn't get a shot of her all dressed up, but since we were going to Tallahassee, I decided it was better that we get there on time, then to take a lot of pictures!

Once church got over we headed over to Emily's to eat some lunch and celebrate with the birthday girl!  She had a Mickey Mouse themed party, which was too cute!  Here are all the little cousins wearing their ears!
We had such a fun time and Bellamy really enjoyed the cake and ice-cream!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SAMANTHA! WE LOVE YOU!!

Bellamy has the ultimate life...
Lounging around, drinking and eating her snacks, and watching some Baby Einstein.  I'm so completely jealous! :)

Hat

It still fits, daddy!
At least according to Bellamy it does!  This is what she told Drew as they went for a ride one day!  Silly little girl!

Sunday Best

Good Morning Daddy!
When I got Bellamy up on this beautiful day, she kept saying "happy banana".  I honestly had no clue what she was talking about.  I knew Jessica had kept her the night before so Drew and I could go on our Valentine's Day date (I'll include that later), so I assumed that was something between them.  But she kept saying it over and over.  So after she ate her breakfast, I presented to her the only thing I could come up with that was a "happy banana"...
Yeah...this wasn't it though!  I did think it was quite clever though!  No, it ended up being a banana that I got from work.  Once I gave it to her, she was all smiles!

After we ate breakfast, we got ready for church!
She is such the little ham!  I finally got a cute picture though!
We sure do love this little thing!  She is our heart and soul!

Silly Saturday

One Saturday Drew had to go up to Tallahassee to work on some paperwork from a case he had.  Bellamy and I stayed home.  While I was folding the laundry, she found an old winter hat of her's.  She just had to put in...then wanted to take a picture!  Gladly!
She looked so cute in her little hat!  She wore it around for a couple of hours and would go look in the mirror and just laugh!  It was so cute!  I had to finally tear it off her though because she started sweating!  Precious though...just precious!

Updates on Bellamy through the eyes of Pop!  First off we have her grabbing some snacks with Samantha...
Apparently this wasn't grab-and-go!  When I got this, I immediately thought about my dad and what he would say..."They aren't showing a movie in there!"!  Good times!

Next up we have sweet Caroline reading to Bellamy.  If you will read her a story, she will sit with you for hours on end!
Love my updates from Pop!  They keep me going during the day!

Daddy...

as if you wouldn't have been able tell!

Drew did this to Bellamy one night when I was at church.  It is precious, but only a daddy would do this to his little girl!

Valentine's Day

Since I'm pretty far behind on my blog, I've forgotten a lot of stuff.  That's ok though, I'll just make it up as I go along!

Every holiday that rolls around, Bellamy gets a present from Nana and Pop.  Here she is opening her Valentine's Day present...early I'm sure!
She got two books, a Biscuit book and a Fisher-Price flap book.  She kept saying, "I love it, I love it"!  Then she said, "Take a picture for Nana"!  So we did just that!

I really don't remember what we got her for Valentine's Day.  She gets so many "presents" from us, that they all just roll into one!  Oh well!  Happy Valentine's Day, sweet girl!  Mommy and Daddy love you so much!

Sunday Best

Good Morning Daddy!
I love these!  In them, she is actually saying "good morning, daddy!"!!  Once we got finished with breakfast, it was time to get dressed for church.  Bellamy is LOVING her pajamas lately.  When I tell her we have to take them off to get dressed, she will say, "give it right back".  Let's see how this Sunday plays out!

And by the way, meet Super Duck.  He just had to be in the picture!  Anyway, once we got home from church, guess what she grabbed?!  That's right...her pajamas!  So I put them back on her and just let her run around and play.  After I got her changed, I had a few extra diapers out.  She grabbed one and then grabbed her teddy and her bunny and went to work.
Once she got them "all clean", she went and got her doctor kit and got back to work.
It's so crazy how fast she picks up on things.  It's so sweet and just warms my heart!  Love this little girl!

Valentine's Celebration in the Park

Wakulla County is some of the most celebrating people I know!  If there is a holiday on the calendar, you can bet they are going to have a parade and possibly an after party!  Not that this is a bad thing...especially this time!  For Valentine's Day this year, they hosted their usual parade and then they had a little fair after.  They had pony rides, booths of all different kinds, games, bungee things...everything!  While I was on the phone that morning with Aunt Becky she mentioned it to me, so we loaded up and took a ride up there!

We missed the parade, but made it to the fair.  Everyday on the way home Bellamy talks about school buses and fire trucks.  So you could imagine my excitement when we walked up and the first thing we see is the fire trucks!  She said hello to the firemen and they immediately let her get up in the truck...she was loving it!
Once we got her down out of there, we posed for some pictures with her on the trucks.

You could tell she was totally not interested in my picture, but she did great for Drew.  Oh well...such as life!  Next up we headed for the ponies!  We stood in line while Drew caught up with some of his WCSO guys.  Bellamy was so excited!
I thought it was going to be tough getting her off, but I noticed a pig booth, so I used that as her distraction!

She was in love!  We wanted to let her pet the pig, then we noticed the sign hanging on the cage..."Wild Animal.  Pig may bite.  Pet at your own risk.".  That turned us off, so we decided we'd just let her pet the barrel pig instead!  After the pig, we just started browsing the booths.  We ran into a guy holding an alligator puppet.  Bellamy was all about it, but when she went to give him a kiss, and he made the gator open his mouth, she almost flipped!  I hated to laugh, but her face was so sad after that!  We did end up getting her to touch it and pose with it, but when we asked her to kiss it again, she adamantly said "NO"!!
We decided that after that, we needed to go to a booth with something less scary!  So we headed over to the animal rescue booth.  She doesn't look too happy in these pictures, but she did like petting the puppies!
As we made our way around, we decided it was probably time to head home and put her down for a nap.  I shopped a couple of the booths and bought some hair bows.  When I finished my shopping, we still had a few tickets left, so we stopped at a duck pond and let Bellamy pull a duck.  This wasn't our best idea.  You know how Bellamy LOVES ducks and guess what?!  She wanted to take the duck that she picked HOME! That was so not part of the prize!!  Luckily the lady was really nice and let us take it...and the prize too!
After the ducks, we finally headed home!  We put Bellamy down for a nap and then Drew headed out to play golf with Garet and Joe.  I was going to skip this part of the day, but as I was going through my photostream, I saw some good pictures that I couldn't pass up!  No captions necessary...

Yes...Garet broke ALL of his clubs!  What a loon!  Towards the end of their golf excursion, I decided to run Bellamy up to the park to swing and play for a while.  She had a blast!

Drew showed up after his game and played with us for a few minutes.  He brought out one of his clubs and let her take a few swings.  She loved it!  But it was time to go home and get ready for bed.  Sunday's are a big day for us...so to the house we go!!

Sunday Best

The next day we headed back up to Tallahassee to go to church with the Vass' and have Emily's birthday dinner.  I still had to get my pictures in though!
After breakfast we loaded up and headed on back to Tally!  As with everytime we go to church in Tallahassee, I just carry Bellamy up there in her pajamas.  She loves them anyway, so it's not a big fuss!  Once we got up there, we got her dressed and ready to go inside.  Since we were in a new place, I still wanted to get my dressy picture!  So I found the perfect spot!  We'll start with a few outtakes!

In the first set of pictures, she is showing me where the "apple" on my phone is...

And now for my favorite one...
What a little cutie!  She is getting too big too fast!

Kate's Baptism

This year was a special year for our little niece Kate.  She turned the 8 this year and was baptized.  I'm so glad that we were able to attend her baptism.  It was a very special time and I hope she always remembers the covenants she made on that special day!

After the baptism, we headed over to Wal-Mart and picked up a few groceries.  While we were there, we also picked up Bellamy a new animal for zoo talkers tree.  When we got home, I remembered it was Meris and Joe's anniversary, so we sat down and made them a special movie!
They loved it!  And rightfully so...it was the most adorable anniversary-gram EVER!!!

Pop's Pics

One day we got this picture from Pop...
I know it doesn't look like anything out of the ordinary, but he mentioned that the reason he took this picture was because of the picture in the background (the one of our little family).  He said that Bellamy had been toting it around all day and when she sat down for her snack, she set the picture down right beside her!

I tell you what, this little girl has our hearts!  We sure do love her and are so thankful that she is part of our family!

Surprises...

That's what Bellamy calls any present that she gets!

For Christmas we bought Bellamy a Fisher Price Servin' Surprises kitchen.  It's too cute!  The only problem, is it has extra "surprises" you can buy to go with the pizza and cookies that comes with it.  So what do I do...start shopping!  Lucky for me, I got an e-mail from FP and they had the serving surprises sets for $10.00!  So we bought her the birthday cake and candle (I don't remember for what occasion!) and the ice cream set (to give to her for Valentines Day).  We decided to keep it in our room, because it worked so well with her Christmas gifts, that it was bound to work again!

You have the background, now let's get to the reason of the post!  One day when we got home, I was changing Bellamy's diaper.  After we got done, I put her on the floor.  She immediately started walking towards the window...right to the big brown box!  Then she started trying to open it!  I walked out of the bedroom thinking she would forget about it and just follow me.  And she did...but with the box in tow!  We went in the bathroom and she found Drew's nail clippers on the counter and she started trying to get in the box with those!

She tried over and over!  Then she got me to try!  Finally when Drew got home, we gave in and opened the box!  She was so excited!
Once I got it all set up, she played with it for the rest of the evening!
She loves eating (and sometimes sharing!) her "I-Cream"!!!

Sunday Best

I'll start out this post as I normally do, with our morning picture to daddy!  We must have gone grocery shopping the night before and bought her an ostrich, because she is posing with it in this picture!
After we ate breakfast, it was time to get dressed.  I don't know what it is lately, but Bellamy is in LOVE with her pajamas!  She never wants to take them off, and if she has to, she wants to put them right back on when we get home.  Once I got her out of them, I pulled on her stockings.  I KNOW she is going to flat out HATE me one day for this, but she just looked so cute!  I had pulled her stockings up too high and then she sat down before I could fix them...which led to this cuteness!
I love how her little belly just pokes out!  Too cute!  Anyway, after I got her dressed, it was time for pictures...as usual!  Here's our first set; not bad, but not the greatest!
I love her face in this one!  Sometimes the only way I can get her to smile is to tell her we are making a movie for Terah, and then I'll tell her to say "Hey Terah!".  This is the face she makes as she is in the middle of repeating me!
I managed to get some pretty cute shots!
But with a model like this...it was inevitable!

Pop's Pics

I just love this little picture that Pop sent me...he caught Bellamy doing the "shimmy shimmy" on their balcony!
She sure loves to dance...and is very good at it!  She gets that from her Mama too...sorry Daddy! :)

Park Time!

It's Saturday...so it's obviously park time!!  Yay!!

So off we go to the Farm to utilize their park.  Pretty sure the park is for residents only, but we won't tell anybody!  Plus, Bellamy has so much fun there...who would turn her away!

The slide is my absolute favorite!  After she would climb the stairs to the top, she would automatically sit down and scoot to the slide, laughing the whole time!

We had a blast and I so enjoyed spending time with my little angel!

STOP...

HAMMER TIME!!

At least that's what I felt like!!  Everytime I go to TOC to get my knee looked at, they put me in these horrible "shorts."  They literally look like Hammer pants!!  The first time I went, Drew didn't believe me, so the next time I went...I got the poor lady that checked me in to take my picture.  The proof is in the pants...
Yeah...I'm embarrassed about this...but oh well!  As I was getting done, she said that I can keep the pants and take them home or just leave them on the table.  Take the pants?  Are you kidding me?  She then proceeds to tell me how people LOVE them...they like to garden in them or just find them comfortable to wear around the house.  You can rest assured that these pants were left right there on the table when I walked out!

Nursery Artwork

For the past several months Bellamy has been in nursery at church.  It was such a sad day, but she's doing so good in there.  Who knows what will happen if/when more kids show up, but by herself, she's great!  Anyway, since she's the only one in there, she usually colors like two or three pictures each Sunday.  That's a lot of paper!  I would love to keep them all, but I just don't have the space for them.  So I came up with an alternative...take a picture, blog it, then discard it!  And here they are!
As she gets bigger I'll actually save some of her pictures.  But for now, this is my only solution!

On The Hunt

Since we don't have a lot of time during the day and I really need to workout, I've taken a likening to doing workout videos at home.  Only one problem...I get really bored when I've done the same four week cycle like 3 times!  So I went on the hunt to find a new DVD/Wii workout to add to my routine.

First we headed to Wal-Mart.  They didn't have the exact one I was looking for, but I ended up purchasing a Zumba for our Wii.  Then Drew remembered that there was a gaming store in Crawfordville, so we decided to run by there and see if they had anything.  Turns out...NO!  But while I was in there, Drew took this cute little picture of Bellamy!
She loves wearing her daddy's hat!  Finally when I got out of there, we headed back home.  Bellamy kept asking to "play with mommy's phone", so I finally relented and passed it back.  I love watching her face as she watches movies of herself!  She will sit there and laugh and smile!
We sure do love this little thing!

Happy Birthday Amelia!

Later that day we headed up to Tallahassee to celebrate Amelia's birthday.  I feel so guilty.  Usually I have Bellamy make video-grams for everybody's birthday, but this one totally slipped by me.  But we did go celebrate, so that counts for something, right?!

I didn't get a lot of pictures while we were there...I know, shame on me again!  But after all the party festivities, we headed outside to let the kids run and play.  As we were playing, I noticed a lizard about to climb in through the open window.  So I immediately called Bellamy over.  All she wanted to do was grab it and play!  So Galen came out to catch it.  He ended up letting it hang on his ear, which Bellamy was quite amused with!
Once we let the lizard go, Bellamy turned her attention to the umbrella.  She looked so cute carrying that thing around!

This is my absolute favorite!  All you can see is her little legs sticking out from underneath!
We sure do love Amelia and hope she had the best 7th birthday a girl could ask for!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMELIA!  WE LOVE YOU!!
