The other day Drew had to work late (again, thanks Roy G.) so I was left to play with Bellamy all by myself! I made sure she was fed and changed and then the playing commenced! Just before her bath I sent this picture to Drew to show him what he was missing out on! Too cute!
Chillin'
Monday I went to pick up Bellamy and as I pulled in the driveway, I noticed Pop sitting in a chair in the front yard with a straw hat propped up on his knee. When I got out of the car I jokingly asked if Bellamy was under there! I couldn't see her from the car, so I was surprised when he said she was and that I had to come see her! When I got over there, this is what I saw...
I just started dying laughing! She tried so hard to open her eyes and smile, but it wasn't happening...she was down for the count!

Blackberry Already?
Over the past couple of months, Bellamy has been reaching for everything! She has her toys that she plays with, but for some reason, she wants what she can't have...the remote or mine and Drew's cell phones! She will be playing just fine with her toys, but once any of those three items come into sight, she changes her focus! So the other day, we got Bellamy her very own Blackberry! Not really! I upgraded my phone a while back, so she uses my old phone to slobber on and play with! And boy does she go to town on it!
Easter Drive
Bellamy was so tired after all the Easter festivities over the weekend, that when we got home on that Sunday afternoon, she was still asleep in her carseat! So Drew and I decided it was time for us a nap as well! We all piled up in our bedroom and enjoyed a nice snooze!
After we woke up, we decided that we wanted to go for a stroll, but the bugs were so bad, that we opted for a Sunday afternoon drive! We drove out to the light house and just looked at the water and enjoyed our time together as a little family!

Bellamy's First Easter
A couple of Saturday's ago we had to go to Tallahassee to get our car serviced, so we decided we would drop by the mall and let Bellamy see the Easter Bunny. She did sooo good! At first she wasn't quiet sure what was going on...she looked at the bunny, started pulling his hair, and did everything but look at the camera! Finally we got her attention and she went to smiling...CHEESE!
Governor's Square Mall, April 2011
On Easter Sunday, we drove out to spend Easter with my family. We went to church in Bristol and then went and ate at my Grandpa's house afterwards.
Drew, Jaren, and Bellamy, Sunday, April 23, 2011
After lunch, Bellamy didn't last too long! She conked out, so we put her in her carseat and let her sleep!
She is soo smart...she found her first Easter egg...in her sleep!
Bellamy with all her Easter loot! Thanks Aunt Terah and Kylia (basket on the left)...I can't wait to get into all my goodies!
Photo Shoot, 4 months
While I was pregnant, Drew wanted to do a maternity shoot. I was against it because I had all the memories in my head to last a lifetime! But as I was looking online, I noticed the Picture Ladies would do a baby's first year package and you could add a maternity shoot in at no extra charge, so I caved (I mean it's free...you can't turn that down!)! Anyway, the Saturday before Easter, we went over to Blountstown and did Bellamy's 4 month pictures. These are just some from my phone, so you can just imagine how good the real ones turned out!
Funny story about her blessing dress that I must share so that I will ALWAYS remember, not that I could EVER forget this! When we went for her newborn pictures, she was soooo tiny and would barely fit in the dress, so I decided to hold off until her next set of pictures. So we get there and she finishes outfit 1 (Easter dress) and we decide it's time for the blessing dress...boy was this a challenge! Looking at how chubby her arms had gotten, I was worried that it might not fit and that I had missed my opportunity, but I was determined! We get her undressed and she goes in pretty easy...a little tight on the arms, but it "fit" nonetheless. Next thing we notice, her little arms start turning red because it's too tight! We tried to slip a pair of scissors and a knife under the sleeve of the dress just to rip the seam a bit, but there was no room to give! So we hurry with the pictures (which turned out awesome!) and rush to get her out. BIG. PROBLEM. She was not coming out of this dress! We worked for at least 10 minutes trying to get her out, while she just laid there screaming. Drew suggested we cut the dress off of her, but I just couldn't let him do that. It took me, him, and our photographer to get her out...poor thing! What a champ though! She ate right after and was ready to pose some more...red arms and all! :)
Date With Daddy
Drew was able to be off for Good Friday...lucky him! And even more lucky that he got to spend the whole day with Bellamy!
Welcome To The Big Leagues!
I can't believe that our little girl is now 4 months old! It's crazy how fast time is flying by! At her last doctor's appointment in April, she was 23.5 inches long and weighed in at a whopping 11lbs 13 oz...a far cry from the 5lbs 14oz she was when we discharged from the hospital!
The other day I was changing her diaper and noticed that she had leaked through. Now if you know me, you know I don't let her go long between changes, because that's just gross! Anyway, after a few times of this happening, it finally hit me...she has outgrown her size 1 diapers and is ready for the big leagues of size 2! I can't believe it!
