HAPPY (early!) BIRTHDAY, BELLAMY!

Since Bellamy's birthday fell on a Saturday this year, I decided to take that Friday off and spend time with my sweet girl!

We started our day with some cereal, then got dressed and headed out to do some shopping!  And it just so happens that we ended up at a bakery that sells some mighty fine cupcakes!

We had a blast!  HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY SWEET GIRL!  We love you so much! :)

They're Here!!

The first week in Ft. Myers I was all by myself...well almost!  Thankfully Kylia was here for work that week, so I was able to har family here and someone to help me take my mind off things!  We had so much fun!  We hit both outlet malls, Shop kicked, ad went to Target heaven only knows how many times!  But she left on Thursday, so then I was by myself...for real.

When Saturday rolled around, I could barley contain myself...they were on their way!  So I unpacked as many boxes as I could to help the time pass faster!  Finally my phone rang around 4:00 and Drew said they were close.  He also said that his Mom and Dad were going to be coming without him...his car stopped as he pulled off I-75 about 10 minutes from the house.  I was worried, but he called work and got it taken care of!  Next thing I know, everybody was here and I was so excited!  We had a good (although short) visit with Nana and Pop.

That next week We decided to keep Bellamy home with me and let her adjust to Ft. Myers before putting her in daycare.  This was going to kill me!  First I got up and started working at like 3:30 in the morning just so I could get the majority of my right hours in for the day before she woke up.  We had a blast!  Here's some of our pictures for the week!

Here we are playing inside and at our local park...
Next up she's working with me!  We had just watched an episode of Curious George where he had a pen in his ear and she just ha to do it too!
Here we are at Lakes Park.  This is a super nice park just around the corner from the house!
Here she is reading her Book of Mormon and helping me work...again!
Next up we're just playing an eating some snacks...apparently chocolate!
On Wednesday of that week we went for a checkup to get her papers for daycare.  She was so excited...I have yet to figure out why!
We had a blast and I'm so glad she (ok, both of them!) are here with me now! ;)

Moving...

Well, the day after Thanksgiving finally rolled around.  While everybody was out getting their Black Friday deals, Drew, Brin, and I were loading up the truck and getting ready to ride out.  It was a sad day, so I'm not going to dwell on it.  Brin and I left for Tallahassee with Bellamy in two and Drew started the trek to Ft. Myers in the Uhaul.

After I dropped Bellamy off at Nana and Pops, I hit the road to Ft. Myers...cried a little because it finally hit me I was leaving.  But I put on my big girl panties, sucked it up, blasted Pandora and moved forward!

When we finally got down to Ft. Myers, it was too late to unload the truck, so we got the keys to our place and went and got a hotel room.  Here's something gross, so if you aren't into gross stuff, please move to the next paragraph!  Once we got our hotel room, we realized that all we had were the clothes on our backs, so we picked up a bar of soap and some Taco Bell and waltzed right on I to the Homewood Suites.  That night Drew took a shower...and put back on ALL his dirty clothes...I thought "what's the use", so I just washed my face and went to bed!  I know...disgusting.

We got to the house early the next morning and the movers had us set up and inside within 2 hours!  Them Brin showed up with the Isuzu, so we grabbed some lunch before they hit the road.  A couple of hours later they hit the road and I was left...alone.  In a new city, new house, new EVERYTHING.  Here goes!

So I began unpacking boxes.  What else was I going to do?  Then I opened this box and found this...
Just what I needed...except the tears that came after...I could've done without that!

Then over the next week I got these cute shots of my princess, which always made things better!
I can not wait until she is down here with me (Drew too, of course!), but I miss this sweet little face!  She holds one of the biggest pieces of my heart and I just love her so much!

Happy Thanksgiving!

This year was reallysrange for Thanksgiving.  It was technically the Vass' turn, but since we were moving the next day, we decided to split up and each do our own families, with me taking Bellamy!

We got over there and had a blast!  Bellamy had fun playing with her cousins and I had fun seeing everybody!

Meanwhile at the Vass', they were also posing for pictures and having a blast!
Later that afternoon, we had more packing to do...will it ever end?!  So Galen and Mr. Lee came over to help us pack some more.  Bellamy was also there helping us out.  She was our little "plumber"...
Bless her little heart!  She has no booty to hold her pants up, so everyone she would squat down, her pants went down too!

It was fun hanging out with Galen and Mr. Lee!  They were a big help and got us a little closer to being done!  Thanks guys!

Ducky

That night after Drew's graduation we were still packing...yuck!  When Bellamy and I got home, Garet and Joe were there helping load the truck, so Bellamy and I brought home some pizza!  It was fun spending time with them and hearing them cut up with each other!

By the end of the night, we were all done!  Bellamy was entertaining us by changing outfits...from her monkey costume to her duck to her ghost.  Then it was my turn...so I to the duck costume I went...
Not my proudest moment, but it made her smile, so I did it.  Unfortunately there is also a video of it, but I won't put that on here to scar you!  Oh well!  It was fun!  Thanks Garet and Joe!

Drew's Graduation

The Wednesday before Thanksgiving Drew had his graduation from the FDLE Academy.

It was a very nice ceremony and we are so proud of him!  Now to Fort Myers we go!

Cleaning House

Besides moving itself, the other bad part is that when belly sees all her old toys, she wants to play with them...even though they don't fit her anymore!
But she had fun, so that's all that mattered!
